2016년 9월29일 홍콩에서 열린 아카시아(ARCASIA)건축상 시상식에서 건축가 방철린 (

Bang, Chul-rin)이 제주스테이비우다(Jejustay BIUDA)로 Gold medal을 수상하였다.

아카시아건축상은 아시아지역 건축사협의회인 아카시아에서 아시아지역건축사의 우수건축작품에 주는 상으로 올해는 아시아 19개국에서 제출된 작품 중에서 76개의 작품이 심사대상에 올랐고 그 중에 한국작품은 3개가 포함되어 전시가 되었으며 최종심사결과 6개의 Gold medal과 17개의Honorable mention, 13개의 Mention이 결정 수상되었다. Gold medal수상국은 일본과 중국 베트남 그리고 한국(두개)이다.

이로서 건축가 방철린은 제주스테이 비우다로 한국에서의 건축상인
